Dr. Harleen Sodhi specializes in the care of children’s teeth. She is specially trained to care for the unique needs of children, from infants to teenagers.

She is also trained to deal with the special behavioral challenges that children can present during dental visits. Metuchen Pediatric Dentistry provides a wide range of dental services for children.

Our pediatric dentistry services include comprehensive oral exam where we examine for tooth decay and cavities and more. We also evaluate for tongue or lip tie or tethered oral tissues, gum disease, and current restorations to make sure they are intact.

Our Comprehensive Oral Exam Includes:

  • Examination of tooth decay or cavities

Teeth Cleaning

​Teeth Cleaning includes scaling polishing to remove tartar, plaque and tough deposits which cannot be removed by brushing alone. This results in teeth and gums to staying healthy.

Fluoride Treatment

Fluoride treatment helps remineralize teeth (absorb the Calcium back in teeth). This prevents future cavity and prevents progression of existing decay.

Diagnostic X-Rays include radiographs or panoramic to find extra teeth, missing teeth, any pathology, and wisdom teeth.

Special Needs Dentistry

Metuchen Pediatric Dentistry is experienced in treating children with special needs. Our practice is designed with special considerations to give your child a comfortable environment. We provide services to children with developmental delays, autism, ADHD, ADD, cerebral palsy, Down Syndrome, or any other medical concerns. We believe in safe care and work as a team with your medical professionals to provide your child the best care.

​Mouthguards

​Sport traumas and injuries can be over whelming especially those that involve the teeth. Metuchen Pediatric Dentistry can build a custom fit mouth guard for your child to help protect those precious teeth. Some sport related injuries are unavoidable but most can be protected with this simple protective equipment.

Nutrition Counseling

​Metuchen Pediatric Dentistry provides nutritional counseling to parents and caregivers. Diet and nutrition affect the health of the tissues in the mouth and we help teach about good and bad foods.
